After
weeks and weeks of asking my wife if we could go the
Blazer game in Vegas she "ok'd it." She gave me a ton
smart ass replies like, "Great they even follow me
down to Vegas for MY birthday trip!"
I took my wife to Vegas for her 21st birthday
from July 4th-7th. Just so happens my team was playing down there that week
and I could see one game. When I lost all my cash in 2 days we needed to do something
cheap. We took a taxi to the Thomas Mack Court at 2:45, I jumped out and saw
Mike Barrett. The tickets we only $20 bucks for a all day pass to see the Mavs/Nets,
Blazers/Knicks, and the Kings/Suns.
We walked into the arena and saw maybe 300 people
most of whom were coaches, gm's, players waiting for the next game(blazers
and the Knicks), and scouts. We sat behind the mavs bench and watched the nets
game for 10 mins. Antoine Wright looked pretty good for the nets.
After the game I walked over to get good seats
for the Blazer game and to get some autographs from the Blazers, Knicks, Nets,
and Mavs. Antoine Wright gave me his towel and signed
my summer league poster! Travis Outlaw
and Jarret Jack also signed my poster.

During
the game the Kings sat down all around my wife and
I. Some kid told me that Master P was going to try
out for the Kings. Turns out P was setting right behind
me. The
game was very laid back. The coach was soooo funny telling
at the Blazers, "Are you tired cuz their freaking Dead" only
didn't say freakin. TO looked like Tracy Mcgrady with
some eye poping blocks and a crazy game ending dunk.
Telfair looked great and Webster I thought played so
so. I didn't think his D was that good. The coach had
to take him out cause he wasn't getting back on D.
After the game Travis gave me his Tlaw wristband.
I asked Telfair for his shoes he told I could have them on Friday, I told him
I'd be gone. So he said next summer for sure I'll hook you up!
I had a great time, I wasn't loosing $200 at the
tables and I saw a great game. I got my poster signed by Isiah Thomas, Nate Robinson,
Aaron Miles, Kiki V, TO, Jack, Antoine Wright, and Mark Agure. Also walked away
with Wright towel and TO's band! I had more fun at the Vegas game then going
to a Blazer game in Portland!
