Antonio Daniels is exactly the type of player the Blazers need. He can play both PG and SG. Daniels is a great veteran guard who is clutch and has a golden attitude.

Marco Jaric would be a great player starting at SG or coming off the bench to backup both guard positions. A tremendous outside shooter, who is also among the league leaders in steals.

Sarunas Jasikevicius finally makes his way back to the States to play pro ball? With such an incredibly weak crop of free agent point guards and his eye-opening performance at the 2004 Olympics still fresh in the minds of many NBA front office personnel, he could garner a substantial contract offer. Hopefully the Blazers can compete with the MLE.

Juan Dixon has been stuck behind Gilbert Arenas and Larry Hughes on the Wizards. When Dixon has been given playing time he has shown an explosive offensive game and he is still very young.

Willie Green would be a very nice pick-up for the Blazers and would add some nice depth to the guard position. He is still very unproven but has lots of upside. A definite upgrade over DA and NVE at the SG position nonetheless.

Kerry Kittles was rumored in trades with SAR last summer but after an extremely injury plagued season where he hardly played his stock is at rock bottom. It is very easy to forget what a solid player he is and he would provide some veteran leadership on a young Blazers team.

Raja Bell would add some defensive intensity at the guard position that the Blazers have severely lacked the last couple seasons. Ruben Patterson might have to be traded to get Bell signed though as they are hardly friends on the court.

Tony Battie would be a very solid backup to Zach and would provide some interior defense to help out Pryz and Theo.

Mark Madson, also known as Mad Dog Madson. Received his nickname from his gritty play, he would be a great boost off the bench.

Casey Jacobson is a solid shooter and would be an upgrade over Frahm. If the Blazers cannot sign anyone else on this list Jacobson would be a good fall back guy.
