Marvin
Williams and Gerald Green have the most potential in this draft,
can play SG, and can shoot-- two things that the Blazers need.
Deron Williams would add nice depth to the guard position.
Martell Webster's stock has been climbing very rapidly and
it is rumored that he could break into the top ten in the draft.
Chris Paul could be too talented for the Blazers to pass on.
Antoine Wright is one of the top SG prospects in this draft
and he could turn out to be the best rookie SG next season.
Danny Granger has NBA 3 point range and rebounding abilities
like Robert Horry. Sean May is the best PF in this draft and
could be a great backup to Zach and would provide nice insurance
if Zach has trouble with his knee. Fran Vasquez could turn
out to be better than his Spanish compatriot, Pau Gasol. Joey
Graham is a SF but he has a great NBA body, can rebound and
would fit in great with an up-tempo/defensively-minded team.
Why
did you leave off Bogut and Martynas? I am not impressed with
Bogut at all, a decent/pretty good at best-- possibly a healthy
Raef Lafraentz player. He simply does not have the athleticism
to be a star player in the NBA. Martynas was left off the list
because he has proven nothing in Europe, it is his height and
agility that have garnered interest from scouts. We already
have two projects in HA and Sinovic.
Dropped
from list: Rudy Fernandez-- he just signed a long term contract
with a European team and most likely wouldn't be able to play
in the NBA for 2-3 more seasons.
